Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

You’ll be exhausted not sleeping Peggy, but later this morning please try and get some help from the doctor/CNS treating you. They can also help with referrals to a pain management team who can assess the drugs you take and suggest changes.
Please don’t give up-you deserve to get some help.

Morning all
I managed a full night's sleep last night
I have an appointment with the dental hygienist this morning and will collect the grandkids from nursery this afternoon.
It's lovely to see the support being given for Peggy123 from you all. I know I just dip in & out of this thread but it does give a sense of community.

Morning Helen-well done! I’ve had a sound sleep too for 5 hours. Busy day for you today-hope it’s not too cold!

Sometimes you need to keep badgering them by phone, email etc. if you are not getting any response and no help, then I’d suggest you to go to PALS, the patient advice and liaison service to register a complaint. Each hospital should have this department.
None of us in this group are able to give medical advice as we’re not qualified.
