Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hooray! Absolutely brilliant news Sarah and I'm so happy for you . Well you've made my day and possibly others' too, and it shows we shouldn't give up on our entitlements.
Wow, fantastic stuff. If only you could have a small custard slice to celebrate?
I've got shopping to do now, and the rest, but you've cheered me up no end.
Have a fab day my lovely xxx
Good Morning Sarah (SarahH21)
Well that's a cracking start to the day and I am so pleased for you. You do read about people claiming benefits who are not entitled to them but in your case the award is fully justified.
Let's hope the rest of the weekend goes as well for you. .
Kind Regards - Brian x

Good morning Sarah, that's a fabulous result, and fully deserved my friend, it's just so wrong what they put you through to access what your entitled too in the first place, aye it'll help pay the bills, but hopefully a little treat for yourself too. Well that's you and I who've won our cases, everything is crossed for Gilly making it a hat trick , xx
Hello Kez, and a warm welcome to our group, although, and this is in the nicest way, I wish you hadn't had to find us. But now you have, welcome aboard and settle in. I'm my partner's carer, as he had laryngeal cancer, but the forums have helped both of us in many ways.
Well, we've had quite a few newbies joining us recently, which is great, and if you've already had a read you'll get the gist that anyone's welcome to join in with the chats. Weekends tend to be a little slower as folk probably wind down.
Here's hoping the chemo hasn't made you feel iffy my lovely. Sending hugs xxx
Hi Jann. Eddie's in the Scilly Isles right now, lucky guy, so I'm not sure if he'll look in. Why not say hi to Kez, our new member xxx
hi hope is as well can be
I am so sorry - as I have had e-mails saying that some of the things I have said are not appropriate - I am so sorry & can I ask you a favour to forward my apologies to Eddie
This site was so new to me and a Macmillan volunteer also said it would be helpful if I did a profile - maybe I didn't understand & jumped in to quick
So sorry to you both - me needs a break until I know what I am doing
Love to all of you & good luck xxxxxxxxxxxx
