Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Jann. Those words are so true my friend. are they fom Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars latest song, a beautiful song. which I can understand means so much to you and your husband, it could have been written for many on the forum, so thank you for explaining it, and I'm sure others would appreciate it as well.

Speaking of sheets, I've been switching on my electric blanket for the last few days. I must be going soft in my old age. When we were kids living in RAF married quarters which had no central heating and frost on the inside of the windows, we bravely climbed into beds made with icy cold RAF issue linen sheets. Sometimes, if we were lucky, mum had put a scolding hot rubber hot water bottle in for some violent contrast. .... it's beginning to sound like the 4 Yorkshiremen sketch but both my parents were from service families so I do not qualify.
