Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Eddie. I didn't reply last night/early hours as you said you'd got a busy day and I wanted you to get some sleep. Hopefully everything's going well.
We've had a good day so far. We worked harder at exercise group and I told Jenny it was LOH's birthday, so everyone sang to him and he didn't get embarrassed, which surprised me as he doesn't like being the centre of attention. It's our penultimate class next Friday and he graduates the following week, as the course will be complete. I'm a bit sad as we've been going for a long time and the Centre's lovely, filled with wonderful folk. I'll get the cap and gown hired for his graduation. Lol!
I hope Leek's doing ok. Now you get on with your day and enjoy it all. Love from us xxx

Hi there Serg and a warm welcome to our very friendly group.
Aw, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems getting a decent night's sleep, and I wouldn't want to start with sleeping tablets either. But worry not, as a few of us here are seasoned night owls and happy to chat until ridiculous o' clock. What apps have you been using? If you like, I can tell you my go-to method of nodding off that usually works for me? Anyway, I won't start rambling as I have a problem stopping it off. If you've joined the prostate forum you'll probably find a few familiar names here.
Take care and hugs xxx
Don't try and diagnose yourself - most scans look horrible and the staff keep a straight face - You will only know when you get your results -so please be brave and wait for the proper results and then you can move on
GOOD LUCK LOTS OF LOVE XXXX
