Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Sardinia was booked with her girlfriend's, I was asked, and tempted to go until my aunties invited me on the Mull cruise, but Sheila and I both had a great time, that's what matters, and I only saw the Leeds game highlights, which never give a proper perspective on the game, but being beaten by two flukey deflections, shouldn't hit moral, and swearing is compulsory, but only if it's aimed at the opposition, so what are you reading, I used to love reading, but when you can't remember the beginning of the book when you're half way through, what's the point, I still enjoy studying. Absolutely my friend, having each other is priceless. But It's difficult when you know what your end will be like, to balance up being their for your loved ones, quality of life, being a burden and them seeing you go through a difficult and distressing time. I have made my wishes known, in official documents, to my medical teams and family, who respect my wishes, sorry for the maudlin speech my friend, enjoy your kip and I'll be back to "normal," when I post again. love and hugs Eddie and family xx
Aw you're not maudlin Eddie, reflective might be better and getting your wishes known is good. We made our wills years ago, as nothing's certain in life or should be taken for granted. And I doubt you'll ever be a burden to those who love you
My eldest and her chap take separate holidays every year and a few together. She's like me, and prefers time on her own whereas her OH enjoys the company of his pals for snowboarding and stuff. If given the opportunity, everyone should do what they want to.
At the moment I'm reading Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. I get the books from the care centre, put a quid in the honesty box and take them back for others to read when I've read them. What a shame you can't enjoy that any more, but knowledge is power my friend, and you've definitely got the capacity to retain that, going by your posts. No getting down and let's look forward to tomorrow instead. I've got Now 70s on in the background, but I've paused out Elton John as I reckon he's got a lousy voice. Now that I've upset any Elton fans here, I'll wish you and all yours a good kip and sending hugs and love right back xxx
Thank you Gilly, and just to be clear. These documents are done so I have one thing less to worry about and I can get on with living my life, and I've always been a glass half full person and made the most of my time. And I'll holiday with everyone, friends, family old or young, mates and girlfriend's "platonic," Sheila, Lesley and Poppy, and nearly always in Britain, though not so keen on holidaying alone anymore, other than day trips, even though it's cheaper lol. Oh dear, another Stephen King fan, and female as well. He certainly is popular with you ladies, I did read couple of his books many years ago, I even watched the movie version, but not for me. Apart from studying which I love, it's English history, which I studied at Durham University, and autobiographies, but shorter books These days. A word on honesty boxes and donation boxes instead of admission fees, can you guess which raise the most money, and it's not even close. Elton ok, I can think of many worse than him, at least he's a good musician, most of today's lot are little better than CGI, and would struggle with the triangle. Sleep well my friend XXX
Morning Eddie. Hopefully you're all ok and got a decent night's kip. I've spent a good chunk of the morning waiting to get through to the surgery and questioning why three letters from the hospital, requesting a PSA test, have been ignored. I was told I'd hear by Wednesday but I'm prepared to do battle, again.
Enough of that. It's a coincidence that you went to Durham, as my lass had a place there too; however, this was in 1998 when tuition fees were introduced and the domestic grant had pretty much been phased out. So she couldn't go, but does have a good, well paid job now, and has had many more over the years. She's more of a go-getter than I ever was
You've got me on the donations thingy v admission fees - I'll guess the former raises the most but set me right if I've got it wrong; maybe admin and greedy trusts swallows up most of the money? And I'm not a King fan per se, just a reader of books and his happen to be amongst them. I certainly don't agree with his stance on many things, and know he often takes to Twitter to spout off. As for Elton I only ever liked Rocket Man, and nothing since, regardless of his musical prowess. I did laugh at your triangle comment though! Here's hoping for a decent day and I'll put the quack's on hold till Wednesday. Grrrrr Love to you all from LOH and me xxx
Gill, you'll never need a passport again if the government have their way with their 'big brother I. D. cards'.
Leeds are playing well, just need the 'rub of the green'. Things will turn around!!
If Leeds want rid of their manager, would they say "Farke-Off!!" I like him, needs to be given the whole season.
