Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Aww, we've just seen the latest Daizy pic. She's so lovely
Going by the rosettes she must have won prizes at the show. Best breed, best in show/category maybe? Do spill please when you get time xxx

️ OH my word, I'm head over heels with our little champ! The sweetest face. Will show OH first thing when he gets up and my eldest as we're going to hers in the morning. You've probably gathered we're all animal crackers!
Brian's boy, Ryder, is a retired champ too, at the greyhound racing game. We're amongst dog royalty here! Excellent.
Not sure how long I'll stay awake tonight Gill, as it's been a fraught couple of weeks and I've been worse at sleeping than ever, but maybe Shimmers, Ray or other night owls will shufty in. Still ok for now though.
We've been spoiled tonight with all the lovely doggy pics but I'm not complaining xxx
Thank you so much, Daizy has new fans!
Don't worry that you will possibly not be around during the night, it sounds like you need a good night's sleep so concentrate on that. I'm sure some of us will be here when you surface again, whenever that is. xxx
Thanks hon. I've got long days as I don't 'clock off' till around 10.30pm after TLC. I was supposed to retire 2 flipping years ago so it's a good job I am a night owl.
Yep, we've got a good few new members in our furry fan club and I always show OH the pics. On another group there's just 4 of us but 7 dogs, 3 cats and lots of hens are shared around. Two of the dogs are Leonbergers (sp?) and really do look like lions. Massive! xxx
I am here. I had a soak in tub to try and cheer up my duff foot.
Yay, lots of furry pics!
Cheers
Yes, if we could have dogs they'd probably be of the short-haired variety, probably a Jack Russell or Labrador. I wouldn't mind any breed, elderly rescue, mongrel, if only.
Tell you what we do have, a massive plushy called Big Dog who lives on the sofa We're all for compromise if we can't have a live one and never too old for toys!
I'm a bit of a hard nut but turn to mush when it comes to animals. The shmuck who lives next door once brought a rabbit home and didn't look after him, so I waged a campaign to make him ours...took less than a fortnight and we completely adored our little bunny. We even cancelled a holiday as rabbits take a lot of care and I didn't trust anyone to do it properly. We had him for almost 8 wonderful years and I still get teary eyed now, even though it'll be 4 years next March when he went over the bridge.
Crikey, I'd better shut up in case I set others off xxx
Stressy's golden is a super shedder. You could brush him constantly and there would still be newly loosened hairs.
Then he ups production just to mark the seasons
I can't complain as my long hair sheds too. I don't know how I am not bald!
Cheers
Evening Shimmers ️
I've got Carrie on in the background and watched Halloween last night.
A 70s nostalgia spooky fest xxx
