Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Hello everyone

We're in Germany now at a town called Eppingden. Today we've been to the Technik Museum at Sinsheim, it was great and Alan loved it.

It looks to me like no-one has been on here for 3 days, do I have a problem Shrug?

    Hope you’re all OK.

  • Hi Helen.

Good to hear you're having a great holiday xx

There's no problem with you my lovely - I've been awol as my poor OH has been in hospital since last Friday morning. He was discharged this afternoon, so I've been busy getting things sorted out at home for his latest care routine.

Keep enjoying yourselves and thanks for the update.  Big hugs to you and Alan xxx

  • Sorry to hear about your OH, I hope he's doing OK now.

  • He's doing better than he was, thank goodness, but not 100% just yet.  Fingers crossed for improvements Fingers crossed xxx

  • Gill, it could be because your OH supports Leeds.  Glad you didn't beat us the other week.

Give him my best.  Take Care, both of you.
