Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • I admire your scientific approach to the Jaffa conundrum ... possit a theory, design an experiment, record results, repeat to to test for consistency, deduct conclusion ... soooo good luck with thatJoy.. if you decide you need a larger sample population then I am sure you will have willing recruits. There may be a grant, or it may be tax deductable Joy

  • So how has your day been? It seems the wisps of my lurgy are lurking in my airways. My foot is also griefing big stylee (apologies to  and anyone else irritated by such language twerking) but I set off to look in on a local craft group.

It is a couple of minutes walk away in a church/community building I pass everyday but have never been in. Was chatting to an attendee who happened to be in the wellness cafe the other day.

Siiiiigh having walked around the outside of the grounds, painfully, couldn't find a way in Slight frown

Gave up in favour of a sit down n a brew!

Not the best as I had a stomach blip this morning and had to u-turn on our walk. I've been crocheting today though.

What a day. Been working on a tricky job since 9 am, only a very quick lunch and no other breaks, deadline 5 pm so I can include it on my October invoice. I made it by 13 minutes.

The Jaffa cakes in the pack I opened yesterday have all gone.

Now to shut down the office, make a strong mug of tea - maybe 2 - and a rest in front of Pointless. Don't expect me to be coherent this evening! Or even awake!

    Great.
