Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Was the last post here really 4 hours ago?
Well I hope it means everyone has managed to eat, rest, find something interesting and is now snoozing.
Cheers
Apologies for last night, crashed without saying Nyt.
This morning I rang repairers to come get Stressy's scooter again. They reckoned it was another puncture as removed a bit of glass. I said left over from yesterday, they disagreed but did say they would only charge for new inner tube
Then I went to Aldi and discovered last two pairs of ankle wellies down to £5! I now own a black pair with sparkly elastic. Need 47 innersoles for duff foot but they are dog proof!
Then Crutch arrived, he has signed for cottage which is minutes away and moves in on Thursday.
Then we met Party in a box pal at different pub for Halloween bingo and quiz. I won a pint, a Lego type dog kit and somehow our team won the quiz!!
Ok post this see if anyone is around.
I know Gill H has OH's appointment and sounds like has had a productive day.
Err on the subject of mash ... cheesy mash very . In my catering and hospitality role I made thousands of sausages stuffed with cheesy mash, always a firm favourite.
Cheers
After a day with no naps yesterday I went to bed at 9.30 and was asleep by 10. Just woken up. The radio was still on, and playing that DREADFUL talentless band's latest release, which is every bit as appalling as the first one, and also seems to be on the radio too often. Like, it's actually being played at all. Argh!
So it might be a while before I go back to sleep again.
Hmmmmm ... cheesy mash. One of my favourites. Potatoes here are rather dry and powdery, (described as 'floury') quite unpleasant without loads of butter. Or cheese.
Oh dear. I fell asleep very early and now I am wide awake the last person standing has switched the lights off and left. I really need to get some control over my sleep patterns.
Another Jaffa cake eaten. Probably not my best middle-of-the-night decision, but my late tea yesterday knocked me out so maybe it will encourage more sleep. Better have another one, to be sure.
Morning all
I was awake for a couple of hours during the night but then I managed to go back off and didn't wake up until after 7am.
Another fan of cheesy mash here, and sometimes a bit of mustard in it.
It's another lovely morning so we'll go for a walk later and pick some bread up as we go
