Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Sarsaparilla! Oooooh. Our local pop delivery Sykes used to bring that weekly, and my choice, cream soda. Cream soda was clear not like the green stuff.
Ah the good old days
Cheers
Shims and Ray. Sorry hons but my eyeballs feel like they've been sanded down with the sandiest sandpaper ever so I'm turning in.
Nyt and sleep well when you've been conquered. Big bear hugs xxx
Playing hide and seek as I type! You have me yearning for the treats of yesteryear!
Nyt, hope you get rejuvenated and bounce out of bed bright eyed and bushy tailed but at least 5 and half hours from now!
Nyt sweet dreams
Thanks hon. We can talk ye olde worlde treats tomorrow - i know loads and here's the useless fun fact for the day. The Lion Confectionery Company - midget gems, poor Ben's etc. is only a few hundred yards down the road from us.
Or at least it was as this morning coming back from town new signage is up! Never heard of it either. Aagghhh!
Nyt again xxx
It's a deal. We called it sasp or sasparella too btw.
Nyt again.
have most people nodded off or found something better to do?
I went for a nosey into the history of the Lion Confectionery Company. I adore licorice and aniseed
Cheers
I like both as well. I wandered off to the larder to hunt a currant scone and a Belgian almond finger. xxx
Nope, still awake but I'm telling myself to think on!
And finally Shims, I adore all things liquorice so decided I wanted a whole box of Poor Ben's as a quarter didn't cut it. No local shops had any at all, not even to weigh out, so I had to order a box from a local sweet shop. This was a few years ago but I was extremely discombobulated at the time cos they're manufactured in our flipping town!
Nyt, nyt, and nyt. Sweet dreams (liquorice flavoured) xxx
Sir you do know how to live high on the hog!
I am imagining paisley silk pjs and a smoking jacket! Your treats eaten in a refined atmosphere... (They weren't tucked under your armpit as you shuffled back?)
Cheers
