Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Well done Ray, I'd have eaten the whole lot long ago!
Yeh, those Mozzie meringues are as close to traditional ones we could find. One version comes with a whole strawberry on top which is even yummier. All the talk of cream made me race to the fridge and whip out 2 individual raspberry trifles. One just isn't enough for this greedy bugger and I don't give a monkeys how late it's got. Your virtual coffee birthday cake slice went down a storm xxx I didn't share it either xxx
Apologies folks I am back! I had to pop out. Yup Stressy!
He had gone to watch match in pub and magnetic north that pulls him in also makes it difficult to leave. Having left eventually however, he had only.gone a couple of minutes on scooter when ... a flat tyre! The same tyre just repaired and returned before the trip to pub!!!!!
So I went to push/steer it back as it can't be ridden!
Unbelievable! Then again!
And breeeeath
Cheers
Not to mention the £90 quid. Did Stressy blow a gasket or was he mellowed on ale?
And you shouldn't be pushing stuff about with your poorly foot lady! I don't mean you were using your foot to push the scooter but don't do it in future or else I'll be on your case.
Now think on...
Ooh I love all those 'eats shoots and leaves' things unless when they aren't intentional they are in text which the perpetrator should have run past first.
Cheers
The repairers should have fitted a new tube and be done with it. An option is to get puncture proof tyres fitted. They are filled with a type of aerated set foam. The ride may be harsher but tolerable if the driver is heavy or the scooter has suspension. I think at least half of the £90 would have been the call out and collect fee. Still makes it a pricey pin prick. xxx
Wahoo! Are they thrilled? Have they discovered anything umm unusual or not obvious on viewings?
A pal discovered a shower in a bedroom. All other plumbing is downstairs and this effort has no ventilation, isn't on an outside wall and had been hidden behind pet aquariums when viewed.
It's never been used by pal given all the bodge jobs discovered all over the house
Cheers
Stressy is always full of praise for the repairers so I am unsure if this is an incredible coincidence rather than a duff repair. I know it is a pain as the seat and all gubbins have to be removed to get at back wheels.
The earlier flat was discovered when we left the art session in town. The only common bit of the journey is leaving his back lane and he reckons if that's where the puncture happened he wouldn't have got to either destination.
He has rejected the idea of solid tyres as his back is too painful.
Cheers
Ooh I can see your finger! Proper Yorkshire phrase
Only went as its really difficult for his tall, wrecked frame to bend to do it. Ale doesn't help precision either!
Ironically, I turned down an invite to go watch match as I didn't want to walk
Cheers
Shame you didn't take up invite, hon. Less walking and a glass of sarsparilla into the bargain. Lawks!
Aye, whenever I got done for something me mam would always leave those 3 words hanging as a warning. Can't remember the last time I said it till tonight xxx
