Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I need a proper catch up as phone chats are not good. I didn't ask him as not sure he would want to say it's rubbish.
Cheers
Would Scoots be receptive to you calling round, even if it raises Stressy's temperature?
Her situation is challenging. It is really difficult to suddenly find that no matter what, you can't make things work when you have always aced whatever bump in the road has come along on your own.
So apart from transport issues and changing lightbulbs, what other changes will central living bring?
An improved view is a given
Cheers
Poor Gill. That's what I meant about me and OH as at least he's got me to sort everything out, even if I'm half crazed doing it. Gill hasn't got anyone, apart from her neighbour xxx
Oh yeah, Scoots would put the kettle on.
Given his treatment is twice a week I assumed his bro would be around even for Flue type side effects... hey maybe I was having them by proxy
Cheers
I'm here!
Had a crazy day, just staggered into bed before my body battery runs out altogether.
How is everyone?
Think you've nailed your recent malaise.
List of improvements upcoming...
I do not underestimate the effect OH's situation has on you. You are trying to be two people ... and they aren't even on the same page
It is easy for regular folk to not understand the effect cancer has on loved ones. Then there are those who take on care duties and then there is you!
Loved ones can get lost in the tide and struggle to put themselves first ever, or find time and space to be sad, angry, fed up, tired, want to do something else even it's outrageous or solitary.
You have had no time to grieve and no one has joined your rota for unavoidable duties and 24/7 vigilance.
Ok you didn't want to dwell on that so about thus chef on your island, what stylee food?
Cheers
Pros: Low ceilings, much less taxis,OH would be able to walk for a paper and bookies, no more lugging heavy shopping for me, no more waiting in bad weather for taxis as we'd be able to clock their arrival from indoors, cheaper house insurance, no gas bill, more trees, no more assault courses to get to our front door, possibly no dealers nearby, not living next door to lunatics (no-one could be that bad) no stairs, much smaller area for me to clean and it goes on and on...
Cons: Rent, but I've got that covered.
Fuuu! Hi
Just checking you were ok ish.
Please free to drift into a well earned rejuvenating slumber.
Cheers
