Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

So we went down town this morning and after a bit of shopping i announced we'd go in a café, part of my plan to get OH back out there.
I was brooding so told OH I wasn't prepared to wait for a call back from the letting agent and would call them. After the initial chat and being told it was still available, I asked for a viewing. Amanda, lady in the office, said the previous tenant hadn't looked after the place and left it a tip, so no views till it'd been brought back up to scratch. When/if it happens I'll be looking closer than ever after that info and told Amanda. I also said that the sale of our house wasn't dependant on renting as we can afford to do both until we get a sale.
So we'll wait and see but I'll keep you in the loop hon xxx
sometimes you are an echo as notifications appear as if you have just responded... but they have taken the scenic route to get here.
The puddle thing is actually illegal and among other things can result in £5,000 fine.
There is a spot on our much mentioned main road which creates such conditions ... right near a bus stop, a GP and of course the route to Aldi.
Some culprits will find it hilarious whomever gets soaked... but of course it is worse for some than others. For example, I feel a sudden cold soaking as pain. For others the shock.
Some will have to stay wet and dirty for hours.
Would be easy to set up camera... drivers are supposed to demonstrate that they took reasonable care to avoid splashing pedestrians and cyclists etc ...
would they claim speeding up was their innocent misguided attempt at that?
Their cheering might contradict that.
Cheers
Ooh the plot thickens. No time scale? Seems odd to advertise it if no movement.
Crikey... does it need work and repairs rather than a clear and clean?
Couldn't you bagsy it on condition it meets with your approval before signing?
Don't think I could have resisted going for a peer through windows and maybe bump into neighbours.
Cheers
Funnily enough that thought had crossed my mind to go for a nose, but it had started chucking it down and I can't afford to let OH get wet, just in case he catches a cold. Gets messy with his lary tubes.
Don't worry, I'm too old to get hoodwinked and am always wary until I'm completely satisfied everything is in order.
I'm still impatient as I've been busy selling all the pros to OH all day. He's completely sold on moving now xxx
About OH... you herd him into cafés which is great ... does he ever suggest an outing or an activity?
Cheers
Just got kicked out but back in now.
He has suggested it a couple of times but I know it's lip service to appease me and he knows I know it, so I tread carefully.
It's hard for me dealing with his depression as I'm not like that. Yeh, I've thrown major wobblers several times since our lives went down the pan, but i can pick myself up and carry on. He can't and I could bite through the walls it's so frustrating.
Let's not get bogged down in our situation hon, as others have it worse xxx
Spoke very briefly with Scoots on phone today
Oh yeah, Stressy watched match in pub yesterday and wasn't chuffed that everyone was asking about Scoots and when he said didn't want to talk bout him they were saying that he can't be so cold hearted! (Snigger snigger oh dear)
Anyway Scoots rang to tell me that he put two huge bands of plastic that Stressy had wanted out in his lane, in case Stressy still wants them.
Awe ... they have been in Scoot's yard for ages. Can't believe he cares whether Stressy wants them or not. His latest immunotherapy session was cancelled as he has another kidney infection. Sheesh.
Cheers
Poor Scoots. I feel really bad for him. Any idea how his brother's managing with supporting Scoots? xxx
Oi you! There is no ranking! If it's a pain in the butt for you then it matters!
Ooh did say she might not be around?
Cheers
Cheers hon.
No, I don't think she did so hopefully she's having a well earned rest as she's been working a lot today xxx
