Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Hi Daisy Wave

Got a call not 10 minutes ago from the hospital and OH's booked for his scan this coming Friday afternoon. One nil Pester Power!

How's yourself and the gorgeous Chien today hon? I showed OH his picture and it was instant love as we just adore our canine pals, along with all other animals.

Take it easy sweetheart and hugs for you and Chien xxx HuggingHugging

  • Hi oh im hoping they can sort all this out cos its nice to come on here for a chat. I have missed it i must be honest.

What you having delivered anything nice hun.

Yes its been pouring down here all day. We qent to gps this morning and a nasty white van man thought it funny to go past me aimee and archie at speed and we were drenched. Then to add insult to injury her bloods appointment was cancelled but she never received text they had apparently sent.

I hope this reaches you gill. Take care speak soon

    Xxxx

  • We are good thanks Gill.  Having a nice relaxing day.  Hope OH's scan goes well on Friday. xxx

  • Hi Shimmers

    I'm here now.

We've had visitors today; the grandkids and then later our bezzie mate.

The weather's miserable so we've not been for a walk today.

    H

  • Hi again Amanda Relaxed️

I'm unsure if it's the site or my phone as there's jiggery pokery going on - pages leaping about and sending me back a few. Puzzled hon, but let's put our faith in our pioneer woman Shimmers, tenacity at its finest Muscle

Ah, no deliveries of goods hon; I should have been clearer in that I'd be successful in getting what I wanted from the hospital - ie a scan appointment delivered by phone, and they have. We all know playing the waiting game is the worst and I just wanted it speeding up.

Now that clown in his van  - i hope you gave him an appropriate 2 fingered salute and with plenty of force behind it?!! Little Archie is probably still innocent and wouldn't have got the meaning, but van man would have got the verbal version from me to boot! I suffer from pavement rage, being a non driver. Lol!

Time for a siesta now, but do you think the bloods text was sent? I don't.

Afternoon lush time hon, and take care xxx HuggingHuggingHugging

  • Hi

Ah im on a roll now managed to get on a feq times perhaps someone in the know has heard all of us moaning and groaning lol. I hope so and its now going to start letting us all get back to normal and manage to get a chat.

Ah ok sorry thought you were having goodies delivered. Glad youve sorted out appointment and all goes ok for OH. I managed to read that afterwards.

Ohhh yes i did say a few choice words and thank goodness archie doesnt know what nanna was saying. Its not fair we were drenched. Other motorists were being really kind then aling he came straight through puddle on purpose.

And i agree no way did drs sent any message to aimee. Sooo annoying.

Hope you get a nice rest hun. Xxxx

OMG a van driver did that to you? Outrageous! Shame you didn't have your phone handy to take a snap of his numberplate! Did you see a company name?

  • A groggy hello Amanda, as I've just woken up.

Good for you calling out that idiotic jerk! If nothing else it must have made you and Aimee feel justified, and let's hope the next time he does it, someone can actually get their hands on him! It's really annoying, isn't it hon?

Anyway, the thought of 'them' hearing us lot whinging made me smile. Ears would be burning! Joy

The last thing I want to do is get out of this cosy bed but I'll have to as it's feeding time. Hugs hon, stretch and up! xxx BlushHugging

  • Not me, Gill - Amanda. I'd have been typing from a police cell if I'd have been splashed! Joy
