Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hugs to you too. Doctors don't always pick up on things. As I've said before my OH was misdiagnosed with Rotator Cuff injury for months and was in great pain as it was lung cancer and she had a large lump on her shoulder. Not one of the doctors she saw asked to look at her shoulder. I spend a lot of my time telling friends and family to get second opinions if they feel that there's something wrong even after seeing a doctor. So lovely to hear from you again Dingg. Hope you're finding some happy times. I love bats, but then I'm a big fan of vampire movies. Be careful not to hit any as it might be Gill out on her nightly hunts. Loads of love Uki.
I was right! I said coffee flavour to Gill so surely that warrants a slice? Draw a Yorkshire pudding on the box and it'll fly through border control, so no postage charge necessary. Can't wait! Yummy
No hon, my bat wings are still working but weakened with all the goodies I've been shovelling down. Always got room for coffee cake with a light sponge xxx
Hi Guys
I had a phone call from the Hospital today at lunch time. I had a bleed during the procedure on Monday so they couldn't get at the area of concern though they did manage to take a sample which was negative, so a bit of good news. However they have to do another procedure to get at the area they need to get at. I'm having it next Friday afternoon at 2pm. They've cancelled my appointment next Wednesday as they have nothing to tell me. Fingers crossed they get to it this time.

I am a Macmillan volunteer.
Things have been slightly better today. I have been working, met a deadline, and have one more job to do with all weekend to do it.
My mouth is still painful but not as much.
But I have been logged off this forum on my PC and my password is 'incorrect'.
Luckily, it still works on my phone.
Evening Ray. Can you spare a piece for me? I love coffee cake. Send it to salford via bats if you can. I have run out of muller corners not getting a delivery until tomorrow. You enjoy it while you can. Weather miserable here cold and damp. Sending hugs to you. Stay warm. Xxx
How's your day been and the pain management?
I've had a funny day really but found a pot of tiramazu coffee granules and took something for my back with that.
Xx
