Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Gill but hopefully you're deep in the land of nod as I type this at 8.30am.
I'm chuffed to report that your dog show photo landed just after 2am and it's a beauty! Is the wonderful hound Daizy?
D️on't reply till you've started work on your lazy Sunday and hopefully feel much better in yourself. Warm hugs as it's chilly this morning xxx
Morning Helen
I was just about to tell you about Eddie's post but you've seen it.
Yes, I was very relieved as he's been in hospital over 6 weeks now with one infection on top of another. You can appreciate how it's affecting him as he loves his travels too and feels like time's being pinched to carry on enjoying them. I'll keep you posted when he's eventually discharged.
Hope you've got some good things planned today H - maybe catching up on some snot monster time? xxx
Morning Julie and thanks hon.
Eddie's had a turbulent several weeks, but hopefully will conquer his latest attack from the 'little buggers', one of his girls' words.
Aw I hope you're ok this morning too hon, and any treatment effects aren't being too mean to you
Sending loads of love and hugs and your daily ✓ and Keep smiling, cherub xxx
Thanks Gill. Slept well and sickness a little better I think, at the moment anyway. Just feeling very stiff, probably as I bearly move all day and it's chilly in here today. Could be the chemo and stem cells getting going though. This positive pressure room feels like it's blowing a gale at times!
When I warm up, I'll have a shower which hopefully will liven me up! Hope you have a good day xxx
Morning Katie, and another welcome to the group from me ️
So sorry to hear about your mum sweetheart, and everyone here will sympathise as we've all had the gut-dropping feeling when the C word hits home. In my case my OH.
Well you've already seen the chat can be about anything under the sun, with obvious boundaries, but feel free to join in. I laughed at Ray's FO button too!
Hoping yourself and Mum are doing as well as you can and sending you both hugs xxx
Morning hon
When I started reading your post my first thought was COLD, in a hospital?! Then I saw the possible reasons and thought awww poor you.
I hope your shower will warm you up sweetheart, and put something cosy on after to snuggle into. Shimmer's suggestions about warming up your toast and butter might work.
I've just heard the thud of footsteps upstairs, so OH's up. We agreed last night that we'll try for a better day hon, and I'll grit my teeth if mother rolls up!
Sending you the warmest hugs ever to help you beat the chills xxx
Thanks everyone for your warm welcomes ️
I hope you all warm up too soon! It’s really starting to be chilly again. All I wanted to do last night was snuggle up in front of a fire so stuck on the fire channel on YouTube hehe.
have a good day everyone xxx
