Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Grrr reply eaten half way through so try here!
Apparently before standing empty for several years, the pub attracted less than salubrious characters. I doubt whether the current inhabitants who were probably students or from foreign shores will have done owt to engender wrath other than exist!
Cheers
Well there has been no contact from Stressy to Scoots. Of course having appointed himself pal's point of contact, the bank got in touch, pals GP surgery got in touch. It's hard to have a toddler tantrum in a grown up world.
Murphy's law however means as Stressy has slammed the door on one pal and another can't travel to visit now, one is moving back and will be on doorstep!
Cheers
Lawks. Those who've gone before etc. Has there been an enhanced cop presence around?
Oh, no news from the GP today about OH's PSA test Wednesday. It should bode well but there's a lot of slackness at the surgery so I shan't rest till Monday and then I'll ring them myself, like I had to do last year as they forgot
Poxy messing with hiding the reply box.
Is it a large GP practice? I downloaded the NHS app purely for results n stuff ... but lots of bits of the NHS don't use it!!!
Cheers
Whilst the fire was active there was quite the police presence. Crutch passed through them on way to Stressy's having viewed new place and said looked like they were knocking on doors but must have given up before getting to Stressy's.
Cheers
It's a biggish complex with different docs and surgeries over 2 levels.
OH's 'proper' doctor hasn't seen him for almost 3.5 years, even though he's still there as his name popped up on the screen to see another patient when we were waiting on Wednesday. We mostly get locums whom then start asking me the intricacies of a larynjectomee
A couple of the receptionists are really good but the others aren't and I have to do a lot of pushing. I know when to bypass them and head straight to A&E.
Sheesh! I really feel for folk who have no one as their advocate. Even if we are usually front and centre in getting stuff sorted, we can't do that for ourselves when we are ill.
Dare I mention your MIL... still a free zone?
Cheers
I have just seen somewhere that everyone now has a named GP. Really? Does it mean anything in terms of continuity of care? I doubt it as it went on to say 'If you want to find out who yours is...'
I also wonder how many people are aware of the 'flag' system which should stipulate on your record your particular needs and accomodations.
Cheers
Aw man. I got halfway through replying to mother post and got attacked! Just been all round the houses to retrieve it so will finish it off, but not sure how much of it I'll be able to cope with this session hon. Anyway...
it's gone again! Back on the hunt!!!!!!!!!!!
Siiiiigh! Dear Jamie Tech Bod. Please just grab your phone and set your alarm for the dark hours. Then come play.
