Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • I had a right lobectomy nearly 3 weeks ago ...right now I am scared of going to crowded places as flu and COVID cases are going up. Anyone else with the same concern?

  • Thanks so much Gill. It is a relief as I have got a bad cold felt bad this morning. I rang the bell. Looking forward to the weekend now. Prince has done really well and I told him. He cried when I rang the bell. Sending big hugs to you and everyone on this site for all the support.xxx

  • s that in Shardlow? If it is, I had a 21st birthday meal with my parents there. I seem to remember it's inbetween the River Trent and Shardlow Lock

That's the one, there's a huge car park so they welcome motorhomes. They are even having a special motorhome event on 12th December that seems good value but it's a bit far for us for 1 night.

  • Aw hon Hugging you're not alone as both OH and me cried when he rang the bell. I still do whenever I look at the short video I took and it was 18 months ago!

Relax over the weekend and hopefully your cold will improve. Keep warm hon and sending hugs and love back from OH and me xxx

  • I am keeping well, thanks for asking.
I have had a lovely day out with my niece, and her little one. Really enjoyed it.

Yeah, do a bit at a time, then have a rest. You will get through it in the end.
You always make me laugh. Joy xx

  • We've just had a lovely meal and now back in the motorhome with a glass of wine listening to Spotify.
