Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • That's a fab deal Helen, and I bet you didn't have to twist Alan's arm too far up his back. Go for it and grab anything you can!

  • Oooh very full of loveliness!

    Cheers

  • Is that in Shardlow? If it is, I had a 21st birthday meal with my parents there. I seem to remember it's inbetween the River Trent and Shardlow Lock xx

  • Hi. Please feel free to say 'WHAT?'

I hoover up information so loved 'Catheters... the truth from inside the tube!'

You may have missed your original mention as I was saying Nyt because I pounced on what appeared on screen.

I am not ready to declare publicly 'I love you the most!'

Hope things have settled down today?

    Cheers

  • Hi All

I got some news I didn't want to hear today.  I had a CT Scan last week as I've an ongoing cough which I've had for some months.  The results came back today.  They found something suspicious on my left lung.  I'm having a bronscopy on Monday to find out if it's cancer or just an infection.  Hopefully it's the latter.

  • Sorry to hear this Daisy. There's lots of coughs and colds going round at the moment. It could easily be just a chest infection.

Sending you lots of love and hugs Bouquet

  • Hello Daisy (

Wow, that not good - I wish you all the best with your bronscopy on Monday and hope it's just an infection.

Try and put the cough to the back of your mind and enjoy the weekend.

    Kind regards - Brian xx
