Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I eventually woke up again at 8, feeling a lot more refreshed. Just need to sort out my meds, then start work as I am a little behind.

    Have a good Friday!

Right ... on the PC, trying to add a pic of the house.

    Here goes ...

(Sigh) it wants the URL and I don't have that. I tried an online converter but got a warning message. Vodafone jumped on it and blocked it. I did a simple copy-paste and it flashed up an icon then disappeared.

If anyone has managed to upload a photo, please help!

  • Hi Gill Wave

I always use that thing that looks like a mountain but that's using a phone.

Maybe Brian will come to the rescue as my 'help' is in chocolate teapot territory Heart️ xxx

  • Hello Gills's ( &Dogdays )

Strange but I have just been chatting to the team about the technical issues and I understand our IT "bod" is on the case regarding the issues with mobile 'phones.

I will keep you posted if I have any news.

    Kind regards - Brian.

Thank you. I am now on the PC where it seems to be less glitchy, but I still can't add a photo on either device. I know it's possible as I have seen photos posted before.

  • Hello Gill (Dogdays )

On the PC when posting click on the "Insert" at the bottom of the space then either "external content" or "image" - You can then add a 'photo.

On my I-phone when you click "reply" it's the square box at the bottom, click on that and then your options open up.

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes - Brian.

  • Hi to all.

I have been asked if Jamie a tech bod can email me re more info regarding site functionality. I have said yes and that I hope they are good at non tech speak Joy

    So

    Being unceremoniously dumped off site

    Then trouble get back in

Posts disappearing during their composition or after pressing to post

Said posts possibly appearing after some delay or sometimes recoverable after twiddling

Randomly being taken to historical points in this thread

Posts visible on the site that then disappear or appear out of chronological sequence

    Notifications not being live

Clunky interactions with other posters making support difficult.

Messages boxes that obscure the typing space and won't remove such as a black date box or which disable typing until they go such as grey 'viewing live page' box

    Anything else?

    Cheers

    Another attempt on the PC:

Yay! Huge thanks to Brian, I was hitting a wrong key. Hugging

  • Oh my Two heartsHeart️

Your home is seriously gorgeous, Gill. I'd just like to say I'm filled with admiration and want, and you've got a picturesque cracker there!

  • Hiya Shims Wave

It's probably summat and nowt but recently a little grey box with a message 'viewing live page' pops up. It disables typing until it disappears. Thinking

Anyway, hopefully you're feeling better today, and the flat I wanted has now got vases in a couple of the windows. Bah, humbug xxx
