Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Gill hon, I'm going to follow Shimmer's lead and try for some sleep.
The site's jiggery-pokery is ruffling my feathers now and the short injection of Kingfishr hasn't helped in the slightest, so I'll bid you good night, that's if you haven't already crashed.
PS no sign of your cottage pic so let's hope it shows up soon as I'm eager to see it.
Night hon and sweet dreamies xxx
I played the flute.
(Fell asleep in front of the TV, just woken up and transferred to bed.)
Excellent, as it's still not landed.
My first attempt to reply fell straight off the page after typing 3 words, so the hamsters are up early as well.
Your remark about the slogan had me laughing it must be a conspiracy!
I woke up earlier after my standard 2 hours but I'm still tired so might be able to get a couple more in before getting up time proper.
I'll post this before the hammer falls again...
Good morning Gill,
What time did you manage to get to sleep we went about 9 30 and woke at 5 15. So good sleep.
Glyn is an angel honestly i wouldnt know what to do without him. I always used a shopping trolley before i met Glyn they are brilliant saves you having to carry your shopping. Treat yourself too one.
I am so happy to finally have a plan to get back to work and some kind of normality.
Archie went to sleep about 5pm was exhausted woke up a few times during night but went back off. Its my daughters birthday today so Glyns doing a nice chicken curry for tea.
Speak later hun xxx
Gill, I'm attempting sleep again, a salve against the crazy things the site's doing - sending notifications from members that posted hours ago, etc
Night night #part 2 and hopefully we'll be able to hold a more fluent chat later in the day xxx
Hi Amanda
You just caught me before I closed my eyes.
I think it was around 2.30 when I dropped off but was awake again 2 hours later. Not at all good so it's great that you can have proper sleeps
Glyn is indeed an angel and what a lovely meal you've got to look forward to for your girl's birthday. Many happy returns to her.
Righto my lovely, I'll get my eyes shut again and we will indeed have another chat later on.
Enjoy your early morning hon xxx
Good morning, I fell asleep in front of the TV around 2 am, woke up at 4 now still wide awake!
I live alone so have zero support, no relatives in this country. Most of my shopping is online and delivered free of charge, so anything bought locally is generally at a local shop so not much to carry.
Glad to hear you had a good sleep, I am on steroids for 3 days so my insomnia is worse than usual. Also great that you have plans to get back to work. I work from home as a freelancer, I am doing a lot less currently but it's a great way to keep my brain functioning - usually! As you say, it brings some normality.
Happy birthday to your daughter!
Morning folks. Here ...
... please help yourself if you are persevering through the site glitches.
I may be marginally less tired than yesterday and plan on getting to pal's arty session at wellness cafe and then possibly jewelry type session elsewhere.
Some of my craft group git this afternoon's session but I've not gone along before.
It's temporarily in an historic 'school' building so that's good for a nosey too.
Laters folk.
