Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Evening Amanda
I've heard of others whose hearing was affected by chemo, so let's hope you get sorted out sweetheart. I know that being hard of hearing makes things difficult in noisy places.
We've had a good day thanks hon, and enjoyed eating breakfast number 2 out, made even more so with it being brought to the table and not having to wash up, either. Sheer luxury.
Aw poor Archie - hope it's not teething troubles again but he'll get excited with Halloween approaching, that should cheer him up.
Have a lovely evening and settle down for the soaps. Loads of love sweetie xxx
Evening Gill ️
Fab news and you must be so relieved. In fact it comes over clearly in your posts that that's the case. Well done!
I was going to say get your feet up this evening but then saw your post to Amanda, so perhaps not. Surely you'll sleep more soundly though.
I hope so hon, but at least treat yourself to a pot of tea and a saucer of classy biscuits. Now we're talking
xxx
Evening Ray. Good to hear your appointment went well. My son keeps going on about the price of diesel. I hope they don't run out in salford and Manchester. Put your feet up and have a rest you have to look after yourself. I have 2 more days of radiotherapy then I will be free. Sending love and hugs.xxx
Tea made, I was so long in the day ward that I was still there when the third round of tea appeared! I monitor my water intake (including tea) so I am now looking at where I am on my daily target. But more tea is definitely called for. It's decaff so shouldn't interfere with sleep, unless my bladder dictates otherwise!
Gill, I drink mainly water and pop, but our coffee and tea are both decaff!
God knows what's messing up my sleep! xxx
