Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi
Lovely to hear that you are enjoying your holiday.
I had 6 rounds of chemo and manged them quite well. I would say take something with to do, I took some crochet, a book and listened to Spotify. You may want a blanket as some feel cold, personally I was very warm so took a little fan. Don't be afraid to ask questions, the nurses are all lovely. AND rest afterwards.

Hopefully job can wait until tomorrow when your feeling stronger.
Hi Julie
I love your blankets. I learned to knit and crochet when I was a child and have recently taken it up again. I’ve made some jumpers for the grandchildren and some crocheted blankets. I am also making baby hats for the hospital where my son works. I’ve not tried Attic24 I will have to have a look at the website. Hopefully your crafting will help your time in hospital go quickly. Sending hugs xxx
