Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Umm you really here or has the site just released an earlier post?
Cheers
Here, now, but was responding to a post from yesterday i.e. catching up.
How are you this evening? - I never quite know what to call these early hours. xxx
Yeah, I am confused enough without the site playing shuffle up with the order of posts and notifications.
How are you? I have been busy, craft group, charity shop, appointment with Stressy, game of killer pool with Stressy Parky pal and Party in a box pal as it's Parky's last visit before car goes on Thursday. Then late tea watching England match, oh and walking two dogs separately several times !
Cheers
Wow! You and Gill H can justifiably challenge Brian for being ridiculously busy .
I've got a catheter change appointment tomorrow, a minor, usually straightforward procedure with 3-5seconds of OUCH, a splash of red, then a dash for the exit before the nurse spots the pink bag, otherwise the medics get all excited and do blood tests, the results from which I have to sit and wait 4 hours for. xxx
Medics like tests. It's like waiting for the kettle to boil. You know ... it means they are busy, they are responding.
So when do you, as opposed to they, get concerned?
Cheers
Actually, I ought to head for bed because, similar to you, I now require at least 2 hours to get ready to leave the house, then there's up to an hour looking for a parking space after the 20 minutes drive. So it's goodnight from me.
Julie, I hope today's procedures went as well as expected. Another day ticked off!! Best wishes for tomorrow, and the next day, the routine continues.....then you can go home. xxx
Ha, I somehow got to craft early today... that never happens, I am always last in!
Had a lovely chat with an additional needs young women while I waited to get into our room. The group before us are incredibly snotty and are furious if you so much as crack the door an inch before they have vacated.
Cheers
Sensible boy! nyt and good luck with escaping tomorrow... I am now imagining a dark beanie and black smudges applied to cheeks
