Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi gill sorry this post only just popped up lol.
Yes cardiff been very warm. Oh we literally live about 5 minutes from aldies too our left and lidls to our right. We are very fortunate.
No im same as you never learnt how to drive. Glyn does and its been a godsend through all this.
Have you found a new property, yes its amazing the stuff you acquire over the years isnt it. Weve got an attic full of stuff that we will be sorting out. Dont work too hard try doing bits and the rest.
Ive had a nice day thanks. Speak soon take care hun.
Have a lush relaxing evening
I went into the main town as planned this afternoon with my laptop and PC, with a shopping list of things I needed fixing. All done! I was so pleased I forgot about the card, but diverted near home to a local shop and got the card, and threw in a tin of sweets and another of good biscuits.

That's great that you're happy with your new hair and it's probably given you a real boost! If the cowlick is no longer there then I'll have it I could certainly do with some extra covering.
No hon, no suitable properties have caught our eyes yet but it's just as well as the enormity of going through decades of gear, sorting and boxing it, has hit me in the face. I'll keep ploughing through it but if something does come up I'll pounce. I've figured I can do both at once.
Missing the car a lot right now, as it was so handy for tip trips when we cleared mam's house, but now relying on taxis for all the charity shop drops. I was going to hire a skip for everything that's going to be binned but have now decided a clearance firm and van will be a better option. I reckon it'll be after Christmas or beyond when we get moving but that's ok as the time in between won't be wasted.
I've stopped for today, as it'll be darkish soon, and hopefully a bit of relaxation this evening. Good to hear you've had a nice day sweetheart, and love and cwtches to you and yours xxx
Evening Gill ️
Good work on getting all done for today, and I know the treats will go down well. When we took ours in on the last day of OH's treatment, the nurses tore into the biscuits straight away! Wonder if the's any truth in them needing food banks?
Anyway, you might be able to settle down now. Have you got an early start in the morning hon? We have as I've got charity bags to drop off and then OH's appointment at the Doc's for 9.40am, so no dawn chorus number for me later on...I'll need to be sensible. Shucks. xxx
Yes, I am being picked up at 7 am tomorrow by the Irish Cancer Society volunteer driver, so I need to get as much ready as possible this evening. Despite today being exhausting, I doubt I will sleep much as I will worry about waking up at 6!
I have dropped off in the day ward before, complete with IV drip attached and clicking away.
Hi Dogdays,
I'm currently in hospital doing a stem cell transplant. I was actually talking to one on the nurses about this today!
She said lots of people's hair comes back black, from her experience. Dr Google says it can come back, 'a lighter shade, gray, white or with a reddish tint...'
My hair is usually gray, so I'll take anything too!! Especially with some chemo curls because my hair is as straight as a die! Julie xxx
Hi oh i will send you over my cowslick lol. I alwsys had a fringe but needed a tin of hairspray to try to tame it. .
I really dont envy you trying to pack things up its hard work bless you. Any idea where you would like too live or is it just a case of looking and see what catches your eye.
Tea was lush be glad to get on bed now.
Take care speak soon.
