Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Well I don't know about that Shimmers. See Gill's earlier post.
You'd have been superb and it was their loss. Adroit should be your middle name xxx
Shortly after a house move was mooted. Err very sensible as a huge 3 bedroom house was clearly unmanageable and bungalows were looked for.
So the house...boy oh boy oh boy. Err hoarding, unable to do housework, never thrown anything out for well ever? Stuff was ... I really can't believe I didn't take pics.
Then a bungalow was found, near daughter and the nightmare truly began

Morning Ray of sunshine
Thanks so much hon, for the lovely post
I was more annoyed than feeling sorry for myself but blurting things out comes naturally. I'm glad I did though for all the great support that's come back. You guys are a tonic and I wish OH was into social media so he could see how it can help.
And I love your guardian vampire moniker.
Hang on, there's somebody at the door...
...a parcel of virtual hugs has just been delivered, thankfully not by DPD else they'd have been dumped up the road. Thank you sir. I've just draped them over my shoulders xxx
I have had an active day being a bit more useful helping my son to service my car. All done now. Quite often, extra exertion causes me to run pink. It is not constant, just glimpses a few times this evening. I've had far worse in the not so distant past, so I'm not too concerned. Hopefully my TULA in November will make my innards a bit more resilient. Thanks for asking.
From your posts, you seem to be assisting your friends with admirable determination and wisdom. Do they realise or appreciate your efforts occasionally? That would be nice but not a given because of the complexities of their personalities perhaps. xxx
I mentioned that the bungalow could be bought before the house sold and initially this was a blessing.
It also meant ... the truly mammoth and overwhelming task of sorting the house, was mammoth and overwhelming.
Stressy of course is 'his ideas, his way, his pace, and belly first and much tea'.
It was umm a teensy bit stressful ahem ... no burley helpers, no hasmat suits, no cleaning crew and only P pal's car to do tip runs.
As the days became weeks of physical and mental grind Stressy err got cross.
As he saw it, lack of plan and definites and pal's seemingly lax attitude and not jumping fast on what he thought should be done, pal wanting different things done to house.

Cheers
Oh, for a Garibaldi. Rumour has it that some Morrisons sell them. If my search is successful I'll clear their shelf, rather like Sonia does with Mullers.
Compared with you and Shimmers, my life is tranquil. There are disappointments though. Yesterday I had a McD's but my order was messed up. I asked for a 1/4 pounder with cheese meal plus a BBQ sauce. I received a double 1/4 pounder meal but no sauce. It was luke warm. I dashed home, stuffed it in the oven then ate it. I gave it a 3/10 rating i.e. better than usual. Next time I get the urge to have lazy food I'll make marmite on toast. xxx
