Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Dare I ask what her stated 'reason' for today's visit was? I thought all were perfectly clear that social niceties are out and a visit chitty with correct date and signed in triplicate was necessary?
Cheers
Morning Gill
I'll reply to Shimmer's post.
Shouldn't you be trying to get some sleep hon? xxx
Well I am joining their fan club here along with everyone else!
I don't have a dog of my own but help to look after two.
One is a rescue golden retriever Labrador 7+ and the other a cane corso brindle cross 4
Cheers
You going to try for a snooze?
Good luck
Lordy Shims, mother doesn't need a reason - she exists and that should be enough.
About OH being worried about all things neck. I don't know, simple as that.
Imagine you had a friend who'd gone quiet without seemingly any reason behind it. You might ask them 'what's up?' and maybe get a reply. OH is permanently quiet and unless he cries his face is expressionless so I have no idea what's on his mind. That's unless I suspect something and then I pass his board and marker and demand he writes it down.
It's not an easy life and it's forever, or at least till our lights go out. xxx
I've officially gone to bed (freshly made, as I felt relatively energetic earlier) but I am here on my phone and listening to the radio.
As I fall asleep without warning, if I suddenly disappear, that's why. But I might be back after a few hours.
Well I'll wish you goodnight now Gill, in case you suddenly drop off. Mind, if the site starts playing up you might decide to take your bat home first xxx
You know I am nosey! but I would rather try to understand than make assumptions so ... before fate intervened, did OH make his feelings known? Apart from the strikingly obvious, did you have to weedle it out of him?
Cheers
