Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

It's a selection box of worries and grievances.
OH had a bilateral neck dissection when he had a TL so to try and keep the turkey neck supple I massage both sides with cream twice every day. A couple of days ago I felt a small lump on one side - I questioned him - does it hurt, feel sore, etc. but got head shakes in the negative.
The same happened last year but after an ultrasound it was found to be scar tissue fibrosis, so I'm not exactly in panic mode but worried sick - again. We've got ENT clinic next Wednesday with the head honcho of H&N so I'm not going to call them in the interim as I'll probably be told to wait till then anyway.
The problem is this extra stress has added to my already hair trigger temper and being unceremoniously woken by OH clattering about sent me off the deep end.
There's more...
Seems slow to appear tonight and then might give multiples!!! Mine was hardly a Pulitzer Prize post
Cheers
Can you judge how worried OH might be or do you need to fine tune your ?
Cheers
Mother has been busy trying to get her foot in the door again! She's been round 4 times in the last week and has got on mine, and OH's, last nerve.
Late this morning I'd pulled everything out of a corner in the room, so things were spread around the floor and in front of the door so I could get more access. I was in the kitchen washing things covered in dust when I heard a loud braying on the front window. Her gruesome face was pressed against it and my hackles rose. Obviously so did OH's as he got rid of her very quickly and was furious!
Now I didn't explode at that point but had silently simmered all day. OH's poor impression of an alarm clock, when I was trying to get some sleep, shot me into orbit and I let rip - again.
There's plenty of other niggles but you get the picture.
Anyway, we've made up as I refuse to end the day on a sour note. And Julie and Helen's messages, Gill's adorable pups and your magic snow have all done the trick.
Many thanks, you wonderful ladies xxx
