Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Will the hospital let you stay and delay by a day or will you be shown the door?
Doh, I have made it sound like a game show! The audience stamping their feet, and baying for their choice ...
'LET HER STAY! LET HER STAY!'
Cheers
ooh does your brother have a similar personality?
Any news on flatwatch?
Cheers
Evening Shims
Aye, although there's over 10 years between us me and our Ted have always been really close. He used to take me to the pictures from around age 7 to see films like The Nutty Professor (original version) and other fun stuff like shooting his air rifle at targets in our field. We share the same soh and ideals. We rarely see each other now but when we do it's like only yesterday.
Hmmm, flatwatch. I got an alert this morning but all it revealed was a summary of those I'm already aware of. That's the trouble with not living in a large town and not much on offer. I don't give up though and keep looking at all the sites, just in case.
I know Eddie's typing a post atm but after everything he's been through recently it's slowed him down a fair bit, so if I disappear for a short while you know why and not to blame our furry little meddlers xxx
You and your bro together must be one mighty force to be reckoned with!
Hmmm does it have to be your town or just somewhere that is as convenient for the hospitals? Doh, that might mean it IS your town!
I am super impressed with your pal Eddie... I know he is struggling but considering where he has come back from. He is definitely getting a sticky
Cheers
I'm back hon
Aw poor Eddie, I really don't like knowing folk I've grown close to are unwell and that includes everyone here. The good news is that he's now been transferred to an open ward so is hopefully free of infection
Yeh, I would definitely consider moving further away but it'd be a wrench and then different GP etc so probably better the devil you know.
I'm determined to get us into town though, for convenience of shops and GP, less taxis and getting OH back out on his own and being more independent rather than having me as his shadow.
I'll get it done else my name isn't Gill ️ xxx
Im sorry for going on and on im still trying to get used to texting on a page like were people are recovering from cancer because you are all in my thoughts every day so my wife bought a Indian to night so i no what happens tomorrow i will shit through a i of Needal and have a bad ass
Omg Steve! I just burst out laughing at your post!
I shouldn't worry about it as I'm sure anyone who reads it will think it's hilarious too, and it's certainly given me a boost.
So, ahem. You enjoyed your curry Steve, but not the possible follow-up tomorrow? I advise you stay on the side of the bed closest to your loo - I doubt Julie will mind if it means swapping sides for the night xxx
