Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Night shipmates, sleep well xxx
Grrrrr! Sweet dreams I have just noticed the time!!

Morning. it is late I mean early err...
Scooters... I really think they should have visible legal number plates and that at the very least road legal class 3 should require a test of skill and road user knowledge.
The Quingo which is the contentious one here has a clear plastic 'fabric' canopy but I think anything that makes traffic and surroundings awareness more difficult is dangerous.
Scoot's own scooter, which got totalled when he was hit by a car as he crossed the road, was the same model as Stressy's. The name escapes me but they are at least sturdy, stable road legal.
Hope everything goes well for you but gremlins and finger fatigue have won so saying Nyt
Sweet dreams
Morning Shimmers for when you look in
The missing post's dropped so Ray and me can see the last installment. Brittle bones - good grief! Not much luck in that particular family
I eventually got around 4 hours' kip - autopilot switched on.
Morning everyone by the way and hoping your day goes well, especially those undergoing treatments or waiting for results Take care all xxx
Hello everyone. Hope everyone is well.
I'm just getting ready for my stem cell transplant which I've been trying to pretend isn't happening over the last few weeks!! Mixed feelings - glad to have got this far but terrified of another high-dose of chemotherapy, considering what happened last time (sodium crash). It's a different medication, but 1 person ever (in the world!!) had the same reaction I did to cyclophosphamide. It's not a recognised side effect but it happened to them so it's documented now. My stem cell nurse has arranged for my blood to be taken every 4 hours, to check my sodium levels are stable. If it starts to go down, it can be raised with a salt lollipop apparently (I'd prefer a bag of crisps) or a saline drip. Fingers crossed it's sorted out if it happens.
The whole process sounds a bit intense. I'll feel ill about a week after receiving my stem cells back but that will go off after about a week. Will be in hospital for about 3-4 weeks. In an isolated room with only a small window! I'm in on Monday.
Hope you can understand why I've been pretending it's not happening!! Now am just fed up with worrying about it and every day in there, is a day closer to getting better and going home!
