Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Afternoon Julie. Hope all goes well with the stem cell. I can understand how you are feeling about it. I was the same waiting for radiotherapy. I have just finished my third week. One more week to go. The last 3 weeks have gone very fast. I am sure yours will too. Sending love and hugs.xxx
Hiya Julie, you wonder woman!
Fab to hear from you hon, but we knew that the stem cell was coming up so no wonder you've got the jitters, I'd be exactly the same, but take things one day at a time like you did a few weeks ago as that got you to where you are now.
You've got lots of things with you to occupy your time, so utilise those in between resting and eating. Hope the food's up to par
Sweetheart, like Brian said we're all with you in spirit and behind you every single day. We're here whenever you want us, either for a natter or maybe the odd photo or two.
Sending you all the very best and loads of love you can do this my lovely xxx
PS Do you want one of these ✓and this to put in your room? It's virtual so no pollen or greenfly, guaranteed
xxx
Afternoon Sonia
Can't believe you're three quarters through RT already hon - time flies.
You're brilliant so you deserve one of these too
Get plenty of rest my lovely as that pesky fatigue will take it out of you.
Hugs and love sweetie and a massive well done for almost getting to the finishing line xxx
Thanks so much Gill. I have been wiped out this week. No energy. Only 1 week to go and then I can have a rest. The travelling has been the hardest part. The christie hospital is the other side of Manchester. The traffic was horrendous this morning. Hope you and OH are doing well. Sending big hugs. Xxx
Thanks hon, we're both doing fine
Oh I remember OH being like that, no energy or motivation. Mind, he's not got much now so not a lot of difference really women seem to do better, yourself and Julie for a kickoff.
Yes, the travelling around is very tiring so get plenty of rest over the weekend hon, but the last leg is just round the corner and then feet up time.
Take care hon, and sending lots of love to Salford xxx
