Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Right!

Short version no blows exchanged. The end!!!!!!!

  • You nodded off or getting Hamster d?

If you've gone, hope you get some sleep and that OH hasn't jiggered new phone yet. What model did he get?

    Nyt

  • This morning, having just bought my 2nd Starbucks coffee this week at the Northampton drive thru, I overtook (safely) a tall, narrow closed cabin class 3 mobility scooter gallantly motoring flat out at 8mph in busy central Northampton traffic. An unusual and precarious looking mode of transport even when used on relatively quiet estate roads to get to local shops. The driver was either brave or perhaps proud of himself having escaped from a care home. xxx

  • No I'm still here but absolutely nothing happened for ages at my end - alerts, NADA.

Oh, he got a Galaxy 17 I think. I know nowt about phones and their kudos but OH's phone is still in working order for now.

I've also become aware of a Ray post now xxx

  • Gill, my notifications say that Shimmers has reacted to a post on here 'seconds ago.'  Odd. xxx

  • Morning Ray Sunrise

I think Shimmers might have logged out now as the site ground to a halt for some obscure reason.

That guy on the scooter sounds as bonkers as the merry misfits!

I hope you've not had any more problems with your plumbing hon? Fingers crossed next Wednesday will see all the shiny new fittings installed. OH's got his PSA test on the same day.

Now my phone decides to chime an alert. The site goes crazy in the small hours and doesn't make it easy for night owls Owl .xxx

  • We crossed posts Ray. I'm a ball of confusion now.

Maybe I'll wish yourself and Shimmers a peaceful night and sweet dreams. Big hugs xxx

  • Pity. I was waiting for the next short episode of the scooter drama as well Grinning.  Plumbing is working, thanks. I had to use my 3.23% citric acid flushing kit last night but even that took a while to work. My PSA is always sky high. Catheters make the reading pretty meaningless...same problem with keen cyclists apparently. I hope OH 's PSA is acceptable. xxx

  • Ooh that worked! No idea what was or is going on!

Maybe Miguel has given his bro 2 euros to sub out the subbing out of site supervision! Alejandro however has finally caught the eye of Maria so his attention has gone to dusky, bronzed  umm... elsewhere!

    Cheers
