Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

There is reason going down the lane was a no no. There are huge flipping kerbs that you can't avoid unless you go all the way back! At this point the partner is flapping as take away about to arrive at Scoots who can't hear door... I run to Stressy's to get him to come rescue scooter

Grrrr post disappeared...
So partner runs off, Stressy not happy instructions not followed says just leave scooter where is!
Bro finds way to the front door. I help Parky straighten scooter up on path but it really can't stay there and I didn't want to leave it or those in house !!

Why does stress not make us all lythsome?
Anyway couple of blokes were trying to mend their little range rover for hours so I persuaded one bemused burley chap to lean inside the the scooter canopy to work controls while he helped it down kerb!
So me n Parky got scooter to Stressy's back lane, where it also couldn't be left.
Stressy is in flow telling bro how terrible Scoots has been etc so wasn't going to sort it.
The poor bro only occasionally got a word in and chose those words to be 'the b******' and 'I'll be telling him!'
I was in kitchen which is off living room and two other pals there too as the scooter owner has already 'had all this' before we had got back.

Holy appointment papers, Batman!
Stressy can be one vindictive sod...
Umm ... Where is my last post? I will wait to see if it appears...
You got to where you were in the kitchen and 2 other pals were there.
Has a post gone walkies since?
Siiiiigh! Yup...
Gist of it was
Poor Parky had to go sit down n all my interjections such as 'she is going to kill him if he doesn't go eat grub' failed, so me n pal got through a mountain of washing up. (This pal always makes a point of asking, in front of Stressy, why I am always doing all the work and looking after everybody else and that I need treating etc Stressy thinks he does the work as he cooks .. with me as labourer)
Anyway I tell pal he has passed his interview and I will put him on rota. The bro eventually escapes and no blows were exchanged. Bit of an anticlimax thankfully
Actually compared to Stressy, bro is little weed and has brittle bones and if I had known how worried he was I would have scuppered him going to Stressy's.
Cheers
