Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Afternoon Gill, just passing through. I hope you are having a more settled day with no further involuntary games of 'hide the parcel.'
I slept ok thanks. It was still a 4am going to sleep touch but that resulted from a routine catheter flush before bed. It gets more difficult and time consuming as the catheter approaches replacement day which is next Wednesday. Whilst undertaking the flushing activity a largish spider sauntered across the bathroom floor, heading for my legs. Most spiders have eight eyes. Can't have privacy anywhere these days. I had to use the shower head to wash it away from me whilst trying not to flood the bathroom floor as my sticks were not within grabbing distance. Today, I have had another expensive coffee out, followed by shopping. I'm sure a single basket of shopping was only £25 a couple of years ago. Today's was £52! No wine or expensive items either. I'll look in again later. xxx
Afternoon Ray
Those arachnids just love your house and must really appreciate all the trouble you've gone to, getting it decorated especially for them. Get some tiny spider ️ rent books ready to dish out and make them pay up. Or else!
With me being the main shopper I tend to notice the rising food prices and I'm aghast at the stinking nerve of it as most foodstuffs have shrunk. It means I've to get double everything to fill up the gap in my guts. Not good hon, but at least you'll have some tasty morsels in the larder for late night pecking
Ray, it was easy 4am again when I finally settled and I don't have a catheter to faff with, so what's my excuse? And there weren't any big spiders thundering around either to keep me awake.
Relax now hon but maybe see you later if sleep's giving you a swerve. Take care xxx
what are you looking for at IKEA?
Stuff for the motorhome. We got some curtains, kitchen knives, a door mat. We looked at the single induction hob but they were out of stock

Afternoon Helen
It used to be pretty quiet and peaceful where we live but has changed over the last 10 years or so, and there's a burgeoning influx of dealers and drops - I know of 2 at least.
Yesterday, when I got that useless message and photo from lazy Zach, I walked about 50 yards up the road away from our house and spotted it, by complete chance, through the railings of a 7 foot gate with a code thing on it. I clawed the parcel towards me but had no chance as there's curved spikes at the top of the gate. I went in the top shop, asking if they knew how to get access and was told to knock on doors round the corner. One was opened by a young lass, clutching a barely weaned Staffy or pit bull and said she'd get it for me. Her house looked like the municipal tip and I was nearly knocked out by the strong whiff of substances.
Anyway, it was her bloke who fished the parcel out of a morass of crushed cans, cig packets and junk before passing it out to me.
How the other half live but that's one reason I'm trying to speed up our exodus as it'll only get worse. I phoned the meds supplier and gave it some welly about Zach and how I'd had to track the flipping parcel down.
To top off a crap day, when I'd stormed out of the house to go on the hunt I'd left our front door open and found next door's mog was in the kitchen, on the worktop and helping itself to some ham! I imploded with rage!
Today's been much quieter hon xxx
Where is my post!
It said
Just catching up. Apologies but last night I somehow crashed. I must have had other people's worth of sleep but have still yawned all day!
Gill H did Zach know they were meds?
Cheers
Ey up Shimmers
They're not meds but supplies as in HME filters, lary collars, antiseptic wipes etc. but a nice, big square parcel could be too much to resist opening by some bod who could be spaced out.
After yesterday's slack carry on I doubt Zach knows his own address.
Oh yeah, and I bought a new charging thingy from Home Bargains yesterday that's a dud! I'll have to take it back tomorrow
