Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Part 3
Hung around in precinct for a few mins and then decided to look for OH - found him waiting opposite bookies, nowhere near precinct!
After giving him a swift rollocking through gritted teeth, we marched up to the phone shop and guy produced a selection of phones, new and used. I urged OH to pick a new one and asked guy if he could transfer all data from old phone to new. He said yes and it would take around 30 mins. No charge for transfer or new phone case, but price of new phone - £175 - was ringing in my ears as I left OH in shop while I raced across town again to Home Bargains and then up to Tesco.
Shall I carry on or leave the rest till tomorrow? I don't mind either way xxx
Please ... I need to know the fate of those in peril ... unless you have finger or fatigue?
Cheers
No, finger ok but being extra careful NOT to hit wrong button xxx
So finished all shopping and waited for OH on chairs in Tesco's. I was sweating cobs after all the racing around and made it worse cos I'd put one of his beanies on to cover my bird's nest hair - didn't have time to wash it earlier knowing his meds supplies would be coming.
I waited impatiently, hoping that this time OH had listened properly as to our new meet-up place. He had and I rang for taxi home...

Part 5
Arrived home and I carried on grumbling, but swooned over his new phone - it's OH's birthday on Friday so I said it could be a present to himself. I've already bought him some from me
Unpacked shopping and slumped in chair with a coffee in an attempt to recover - I could feel the effort put in from half hour ago.
OH goes up for a nap and I wait for Zach to deliver supplies. And wait...
Then a message on my phone:
Your DPD parcel has been delivered safely to your chosen place and is waiting for you at home. Accompanying photo of parcel in an alien place!!!
What the actual? I yell, very loudly, tear beanie off head and charge out of the open front door looking like Goosegog's twin sister!
You sure you want the last part Shimmers? You've gotta be getting bored or sleepy by now?
Gill, a quick catch up suggests to me that you, OH and Shimmers have had a hectic day and probably need some sleep. I checked the news headlines but it appears that the DPD must have escaped with his life. I hope you tracked down the delivery. It is infuriating when they drop it in a secret safe place. xxx
Morning Gill. Maybe a tea, coffee or coco to help you to switch off after the day's frustrations?
I felt a bit odd last night. Nothing I could pin down but it resulted in me not being able to sleep until 4am. My alarm went off at 10am, which I vaguely remember switching off when it buzzed but then dozed until 12-20pm. I'm not sure what day it is now. All I could find in the fridge/freezer/larder this evening for supper was a Neapolitan wafer icecream and a currant scone. Will have to see what that does for my sleepability. xxx
Oh crumbs Ray! I hope you're not coming down with something?
I dozed off around 3.30am this morning but was up for 8.30 so got a good few hours in.
Nah, I'm ok hon, I don't stay narked for long but I don't know what day it is either. All day yesterday I thought it was Thursday but that's now, I think.
We're in our dotage Ray
