Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Not sure how things are going to pan out. The alchi bro has just had a substantial injection of funds due to being awarded PIp and it being backdated. So at least no money to get to Scoot's shouldn't be an issue anymore.

Their alcohol and combative behaviour on the other hand ...

    Cheers

  • I wasn't there! I reckon if she had been in bed, and like an Innocent that's 10pm always, her shock might have been fatal Grin

    • Cheers
  • Yep, when OH got his backdated PIP it was a few grand, but if his bro goes on a booze binge it won't last long...

  • Well they already owe Scoots as he has funded some holidays abroad that they 'needed'.

Scoots doesn't like spending on himself but is quick to loan to folk.

    Cheers

  • It does my head in when certain folk 'need' hols when in truth they likely need other things much more, usually paying outstanding bills off!

Scoots needs to rein in the loans to unreliables. That's my opinion anyway xxx

  • His bro is the only family in contact.

So what have you been up to? Any thing property wise or is the weekend dead for new options?

I actually watched Passport to Pimlico and Cockleshell Heroes and tonight watched the rest of The Whisper Man.

    Cheers

  • Nice one. I've seen both those films years ago, I like the old stuff.

I'll post this and give the low down on flatwatch xxx

  • So many people 'need' more than one foreign holiday a year.

Mastiff pal's co-workers and other pals can't understand that she doesn't even have a passport and isn't getting one. She can't afford it or the holidays whilst they are forever galavanting because they 'need' to.

    Cheers

  • So over the weekend I got 2 alerts from agencies. One flat was very nice but bigger than wanted and a council tax band above what we pay now, so that's out.

The other was more what I was looking for and in the right location so I'll ring in the morning and check if it's still available. It only came on the market Friday but they get snapped up quickly.

The one I'd been obsessing over, and asked to be told if interested party gives backword, is still there but with another agency and £55 more per month. I'm wondering if it's an old listing that never got taken off. Thinking I'll ring about that too.

I've hardly made any inroads with decluttering as tiredness took over big time this weekend. I'll give it some oomph this week xxx

  • I haven't got a passport or a driver's license - I'm persona non grata when it comes to voting so don't bother.

When asked for pictorial ID I tell 'em my birth certificate/utility bill will have to suffice - then stare at whomever asked. It puts them on the back foot which I like xxx
