Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I'm watching on iPlayer cos I missed the start. Yeh, lots of blood and gore but there's a gigantic picture window in the apartment of the main protagonist - someone's bound to go through it - end of film
xxx
Yeah, I will compose it when not wanting to bite the screen
Yeah Whisper Man didn't bore to bed, it's of its type ... missing boy, spooky stuff, nasties, troubled father son relationship, detective etc.
Neck giving grief today occasionally taking mind of my duff foot. Do I
. Cheers
Aw hon, not sounding good so I hope you've at least taken paracetamol for the pain.
How come your neck hurts? What are orthotics? xxx
It's not looking like the defenestration will come to pass. The massive window was waiting invitingly whilst a fight was going on but they've switched scenes now. Boo! xxx
Orthotics are expensive They are just stuff like insoles but supposedly specifically designed to support n correct, so arch supports, heel supports, night splints, compression socks etc.
My neck probably from how I had been lying or ...just because.
I have hyper mobility which is too much collagen and therefore too much movement in joints, I have fibromyalgia which among other things is a pain in the everything!
Cheers
You've been short changed!
Maybe later though after you've been lulled into a false sense of security
Cheers
Does all the above impact badly on daily life or have you learned to live with it hon? It does sound awful. Any chance of getting the orthotics subsidised? xxx
Shimmer, get some sleep love, and rest your aching frame. Leave the chat till later as I feel bad keeping you up.
If you haven't already done so, sleep well pet xxx hugs hon
I was the sort who was never off work. The hyper mobility thing came about as sometimes at work, catering n hospitality at the time, I struggled to pick coins up from counter etc so went GP. He did some blood tests, nothing, he decided there was sooo much could test for he send me hospital instead.
Ironically, the night before my appointment with consultant I fell ... an unobvious speed ramp ... the sort that is just one side of road rather than across it.
I was hurtling for a bus, just as the proper bingo crowd was coming out, so I tried to style it out next day could barely walk.
Eventually got on exam couch and she is saying 'Look at your arms!' 'My arms?' sez me. 'Nowt wrong with my arms. They work!' Her reply 'Normal arms don't look like that!'
I always just thought I was a bit of a wimp as didn't want to leap off great heights or fight for a ball in sport n stuff but turns out my pain threshold is dialed up and I iz delicate
The joint thing means I have probably rolled ankles way more than most but the extra flex has prob saved breaks.
Cheers
