Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi gill and everyone. Ive been trying desperately to get on to have a chat for days. I would love to know whst is causing these problems it is very annoying.
I hope you are all well and looking forward to a nice peaceful weekend.
Ive had a busy week really seen 2 of my friends and my sister inlaw. But now ive got a sore hoarse throat and sat writing this in my gp surgery just to ensure its nothing i need to take medication for.
Mother in law is back home now after having a stroke last thursday. She gave us a fright.
Take care big cwtches sent to you all be lovely to hear from you xxx
Afternoon Amanda
We've not been back home too long after OH's dentist appointment in Leeds this afternoon. All went well with his filling and clean, then a mega wait for the taxi home - over 2.5 hours for a journey of about 15 miles!
It's done now so onto you my lovely. Well done on getting your throat checked out as you can't be too careful after what you've already gone through. Fingers crossed you recover quickly
You having problems with the site too hon? It's so frustrating and especially if you've typed a long post and then it disappears. I'll keep posting and keep blaming the hamsters - you do the same sweetheart.
Love and cwtches and hopefully a pleasant evening ahead xxx
Good evening all
First the good news; I spoke to my oncologist this afternoon and she said that my latest MRI was clear and as far as she's concerned I am cured! I will have a CT & MRI in 6 months time and if that's good will go to annual scans.
Now the bad news; my sister that has lung cancer also has cancer in her spine. She told me when I called her this afternoon and I didn't have the heart to tell her my good news. And one of my brothers is in hospital waiting for a triple heart bypass - we're obviously not the healthiest of families
Gill H I hope you had a good birthday
Soc well done for getting to the end of week 2.
H
