Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Afternoon Amanda
Don't you worry about missing posts my lovely, as I'm very happy to hear you've been getting plenty of rest and relaxation in. Exactly what I'd hoped you'd do. I've recently woken up myself from a 2 hour siesta.
No hon, I don't think it was norovirus but most likely a bug as I've shaken it off now, just a bit tired from the flipping thing.
Well you and Glyn enjoy the cottage pies because OH certainly did, and there's still one left in the freezer for him to devour! We're not planning anything much to do other than watching telly and eating some treats later on.
Have a lovely evening you two and keep relaxing - you deserve it. Love and big cwtches heading to Cardiff xxx
Evening Helen
Stunning photo and thanks very much - just loving that blue sky.
It also matches the cute hat you've made for Remy and he'll look a little cracker wearing that! My best guess is that royal blue features in his school uniform so he'll match up when the cold weather arrives.
Probably navy now I've put that. Keep on enjoying those fab places xxx
Evening folks oooh ssshhhh anyone still awake? Apologies for crashing previously
Gill H you asked about my day yesterday. Got to craft, did a smidge of crochet, went to play with, ahem, look after the mastiff which was lovely, then breast screening.
I don't want to discourage anyone from going but ... the room was flipping cold. You don't get a gown as your cubicle opens into the room. I shuffled up close to machine and one of my assets was grabbed and pulled forward. Felt like I was leaning on a cheese grater. 'Ow' sez me. 'Sore' sez her. Holding my asset aloft she said 'Some people have thin skin. You have very thin skin and when I have pulled, it has split'!!!!
Sheesh! Not offered a plaster, magic cream or even a sticky
I asked the 'admin' staff for a plaster on way out and she said no. I said First Aid kit? After much rummaging about it was found. Glad nothing serious had happened!
I did ask the mammographer how she had gotten into this... beauty therapy, admin, then 'this came up and I learnt on the job. I am not a radiographer'... Err OK
How is everyone?
Cheers
Ey up Shimmers
That sounds horrendous and not even a plaster for your actual pains. Had the woman who gave you the treatment just sauntered in off the streets?!!! Lawks!
How are you feeling today hon? Still sore? Oh, and by the way, I was partway typing 'plaster' and got hamstered! It's a conspiracy as there were no issues earlier xxxx
I will live! I was just looking up mammographer training. Serious post grad after qualifying in radiography or 12 month apprenticeship. To work under supervision. Don't know where the supervision was.
You know my hormones have always fritzed technology without me needing to touch it so maybe it's me
How are you and OH?
Cheers
As long as you'll live I suppose that's ok but don't let anything fester or get infected. Promise? Good
We're ok today thanks hon. On a scale of 1 to 10 and where the pointer usually hovers between 2 and 3, I'd give it a solid 7. OH was wearing a new and cosy zip-up jumper I bought him last week, so might be feeling smug as it's a tad nippier. And I told him he looked good in it.
It's just done it again. 11pm could be the clarion call for foam parties!
Maybe we are being monitored to check us out as potential 'bad actors '. No not terrible thespians or dreadful drama types, the ones oft mentioned in the news of late.
Infiltrating system and influencing and furthering outsider agendas. Err have they seen how much energy we haven't got?
Cheers
