Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Heart palpitations some nights and my neighbour who is in pain and shouts out poor man.
If you're still around apologies, I mooched off to read your story. Bit of a cheek as I haven't added any info to my own profile.
Cheers
You hear your neighbour? Poor soul, is his pain being managed?
How about yourself? Are your palpitations new?
Cheers
Ok sssshhh I think everyone has gone or is hiding, so nyt, hope we all get some rest, peace and even sleep
Hi,I tried to reply before but my message kept disappearing. My neighbour is on pain meds but he is not compliant about taking them.I’m trying to build up a rapport with him as his sister says previous neighbours bullied him or ignored him because he is different.I get on ok with him so far but only moved here in February so it will take time to get to know people.
I have a few issues with my heart which they picked up during my recent A & E visit.Hopefully once I change dr’s I can get some help.My current surgery is hopeless and refuse to let me see or speak to a gp and it’s been the same for my partner.Love Jane xx
Thanks Daisy,The surgery used to be ok but none of the good doctors stayed for long.I wasn’t able to see a dr there until 2 years after my cancer surgery which I don’t feel was good enough. On the phone one of the dr’s said ‘what’s all this rubbish about you having cancer’ I asked her politely which scan she was looking at and she was examining the pre cancer scan .When I said it would be on the later scan she looked and said ‘oh yes you do have cancer’.No apology for being so rude and not believing me.xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
