Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Righto Geoff, I'm back in business with a complaint about that soggy mess you laughingly dished up as food! Not good enough! I like my bacon and sausage crisp and juicy - not swimming in cold tea. Back to the Awake kitchen with you!
On another note I do have a Google account, I think, so I'll see if that works with your videos. And if I can add a comment, I'll suggest you apply to poo café as a washer upper as you shouldn't be let loose in their kitchen. Terrible food!
Keep smiling xxx
Teehee I like your humour Gill, you cheer me up.
Sorry about the dodgy food, I know it was a poor effort. How about tomorrow I give you cereal instead? I can't go much wrong with that.
Ok it'll be nice if you're able to leave comments on my videos. I've been working on another one today actually and I MAY publish it later. I've effectively finished it but on the final watch through I always find dozens of mistakes or think of ideas to improve them.
I wonder if any other regulars here have any Youtube videos at all? Own up if you do!
So it's the Weekend tomorrow. I tend to get more lonely over Weekends, watching everyone else go places, couples sitting on the beach holding hands, people going for coffee together, etc.. I'm fed up having nobody to go anywhere with. I'm not too hopeful of finding local friends at St Barnabas, but I shall still try.
On that note, have a great Weekend everyone. x
Go on then, I'll let you off with the congealed in grease sarnie, but don't try it on again. Cereal will be fine but generous with the sugar, thank you.
Aw, don't be envious about the couples holding hands - for all you know they could have had a right set-to and are busy nipping and viciously squeezing said hands. It takes all sorts. I'm a people watcher and conjure up all manner of scenarios that are more than likely way off the mark. They amuse my long suffering OH though.
I'll have a butchers much later to see if you've put another video up. No pressure though as the long weekend looms.
Hugs mate xxx
Hi Debs, good to hear from you and thank.you for your kind words regarding the ct scan. Yes, it's terrifying and could take 2 weeks for the results . We have a couple of appointments next week too.
I seem to have picked up a bug from somewhere and have been in bed all day, aching from head to foot, head cold and shivering when it is 35 degrees outside. Trying to keep away from Darren as don't want him to get it. Hopefully it will pass quickly
Glad you are in touch with N & E I really hope they are ok, big cwtch to them
Hopefully your tip runs are done and your friend is ok. Lots of hugs to the doggies and hopefully the PMs will be back soon
Lots of love to you both xxx
Hi, I totally agree with you regarding weekends. I find them a lot more difficult than the week for some reason. They seem to go on forever. All the families getting together is hard to watch when you don't have any family of your own. Of course I am lucky to have Darren by my side but it saddens him too to see everyone having fun. We have fun but its not the same as having family around. We can't be the only ones so please know we are here to talk to should you need support
I️ also watched your video on you tube. You come across as a genuine and kind person so please don't put yourself down. Keep going with it i think you have a real talent for it. Speak later xxx
