Hello Everyone,
I wish this was my first visiting the community but it's my 3rd. So a little about me, I am 54, in 2016 I was diagnosed with BC and also found out I am BRCA2 positive, then in 2021 I was diagnosed with local reoccurrence BC, same breast and same place, moving on to now, so I have recently discovered I have secondary BC which has spread to the right breast, bones, liver and possibly brain, which I find out later today and see Oncology tomorrow for my treatment plan.
I am terrified this could be the end for me.
Any advice out there?
All my love
Cheryl Xx
Hi CherylD
I am sorry you have been diagnosed with secondary cancer. I saw your similar post on the main Breast Cancer forum. I don’t have BRCA gene defects but I do have secondary breast cancer. It’s a horrible shock when you find out, not to mention all the tests you go through to find out the extent of the spread. Treatments have come on a lot in recent years and many people live reasonably normally with secondary cancer. I hope that becomes your story too.
