My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa

Fiona, the tattoo did hurt a bit the pain was bearable, it's the outline which hurts the most.

Ailsa, the tattooist said that where I had it done was a 1 on the pain scale, a 10 would be on the ribs or on the back of the knee.

    Claire, the out-laws is good.

    Evening everyone xxx

Claire well done for getting through today ((((())))) Think I am lucky with Paul`s parents, he was an only child and my parents both died of cancer, my dad when I was 20 and my mum 4 1/2 years ago. His mum and dad have been there but let me make all the arrangements. Just need to arrange where to put his ashes now xxx Stay strong and think what you want xxx

I can picture you now Kev in your shirt, are you excited about the new footy season, Liam can`t wait to go back to the first game of the season. He`s off to watch Southport in Blythe tomorrow wherever that is????

Lynne go for it!!!! The holiday for us was great!!! The kids thanked me last night when we got home for taking them, bless!!! I had to thank for them for being them and being great!!! It was just what we needed, like already said we`ll miss them wherever we are so why not be somewhere nice xxx

Ailsa how was work? I`ve still got 3 weeks off !!!! Need to do all the jobs I wanted to before I go back
