Hi everyone. I hope you are all as well as you can be, and coping with your losses. I was a regular poster on here a few years ago as I lost my lovely wife of 25yrs to Small Cell Lung Cancer. With advice and help from a lot of people on here and in my life, I moved along and began to come to terms with things.
In April 2022 I met a Lovely lady and things blossomed, and in March 2023 we had a Baby boy together. He is my only biological child and I'm 50 in January ( uh oh )
Sadly 3 weeks ago, my new partner was told her biopsy from her womb was a bit iffy and needed investigating. We have since been to Charing Cross Hospital in London (from Birmingham) to see one of two of the only Oncologists in England that are in the knowledge of the type of Cancer my partner has. They call it 'Gestational Trophoblastic Disease ' a very rare type with odds of one in 150000. Surgery has been advised but has to be carried out in London due to the womb needing urgent pathology testing.
Sadly it feels like we have both been hit with bricks.
God Bless you all and Sorry for going on
Billy the Dog
Dear Billy,
Sending you all my love as you support your partner and young child through her treatment for this very rare and not well understood cancer. I appreciate how tough this is for you, being through what you have been through previously, so sending these words of support to help you as you support your two beautiful loved ones.
Hope maybe you both get a chance to do something nice in London while you visit and to keep your spirits and strength up. Chiswick House Gardens is free and not so far from the hospital.
Love Florence
Florence, Thank You for your kind words. I shall keep Chiswick House Gardens in mind. I just hope that thinks go ok.
God Bless Billy
