Been back a whole four weeks and I am considering why it's so good to be back. So here goes

1: I met LizzyK (who I was with yesterday)

2: I am back among my people

3: I love the diversity and non judgementalness of my fellow Brits (trust me Italians are worse)

4: Courteous drivers

5: Being able to talk like an adult!

So what do you guys love about good old blighty?

I have only been to blighty once, several years ago! But I like my own country and the Somerset countryside. But there are also a fair number of beaches close too. So best if both worlds here.

I like the people too. Maybe I have just met the right people. Not so sure about courteous drivers! You haven't met me!!! Lol

I am pleased you have gelled with Lizzy. That is lovely. Maybe I will take that chance again in a while, just not quite ready and my uncle passing yesterday has made me realise that

I lived near Frome in a small village for seven years before moving to Italy, Somerset is great!

It is!! Frome is a few miles from me, I live in Taunton! But I do love how you can be so close to the countryside and seaside!
