Reading the posts about clearing out 'stuff' has raised a question in my mind. We used 'Freecycle' quite a bit when in the UK and when we left for Italy I offered the contents of my workshop and two guys came along and loaded what I saw as a whole heap of crap into their car and seemed well pleased with it..
So maybe for you guys Freecycle could be the way?
