hi
my dad passed in August of 2018 and it’s been a tough ride with ups and downs but I’m at a loss now on everything flooding back because he died after having his vocal cords removed from throat cancer and now my mom has found someone new to share her life with which I am so happy for her but he had a routine dentist trip which has uncovered something that could be sinister in his mouth and I am terrified we are going to live through it all over again.
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm so very sorry to hear that your dad passed away a year ago and I can only begin to imagine what a tough time you must have had. It's quite understandable that with your mum's partner's health now being investigated it has stirred up all sorts of unwanted feelings for you.
Could I suggest that you ring 0808 808 0000 and have a chat to one of the advisors on the Macmillan Support Line. It's free to call and they're available every day from 8am to 8pm to chat through any emotional problems you're dealing with.
