Lost my Brother today, one of the nurses at the hospice called me & my brothers partner into a chapel less than an hour after he passed to ask about funeral arrangements and death certificate. I lost my Mum at the same hospice 20 years ago and don't remember having to do this.
I’m so sorry for your loss. How horrible to be presented with questions about funeral arrangements so soon after your brother’s passing on top of everything else. I hope you have people around to support you through this time. This is a very friendly group here too, if you need to talk. Please take care of yourself x
Hi Hope, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I'm on my own. I went to arrange the Death Cert & make the funeral arrangements with my Brothers partner & Sister as that's what they wanted , but after that all they were interested in talking about was dealing with his house and money, which I feel is too soon as he only passed away yesterday .
