Lost my mum a year a go last week, really struggling after Mothers Day, the year anniversary and my little boys birthday. Within a couple of weeks of each other.
Struggling with anxiety - not walking to talk to or see anyone. Struggling with enthusiasm in anything.
Weve two autistic children aswell so our lives are pretty full on.
Hi
I'm very sorry to hear that you lost your mum just over a year ago. I can totally understand why you'd be struggling having just dealt with the anniversary and Mothers Day recently.
If you're struggling with anxiety as well as dealing with bereavement I wonder if you've been to have a chat with your GP? He or she should be able to help you and might be able to suggest a local bereavement support group that you could join.
You could also post in ask about bereavement support and Wendy, a Bereavement Support Practitioner, will aim to respond within 2 working days. Unfortunately the nurses and experts won't be here over the Bank Holiday so it might be Wednesday or Thursday before she's able to reply.
You could also pop your postcode here to see what local support groups there are in your area.
