So I am on a roll tonight ;o)
DH had his scan on Monday to see if the chemo / radio has made his tumor smaller.
We have an appointment next wednesday for the results...
BUT..
Cause Dave is private they gave him a copy of the scan on DVD.
At first he was dead against looking at it but I caught him checking against the original scan (which we have a copy of) to see if it was smaller....
Asking for trouble ;o)
but as I keep telling myself the ongoloist is the only one who can tell us what it...
not sure what to do.... and not sure this is the best place to put this but here goes!
My friend (who I am suppose to see tomorrow) thinks her son "may" have chicken pox.
Dave still has a low immune system after chemo & radio therapy and my friend and I are worried that it might pass on to him.
But am I just being over protective?
He hasn't been that well since finishing his steriods this week.
Arhhhh this is so hard.
Does anyone have any advice?

WHY
Seen the doctor at christies and he blew my mind with statitics. I can cope but christ i think they are trying to kill my husband. I know the odds, I know they have to tell me but im trying my hardest to stay postive and they keep trying to kick me while im down.
Then to top things off I had to go to work today for an emergency meeting and there is a 50% chance that I could lose my job before im better to go back to work. Bloody council and there cuts.
Never did like maths and statistics in...
Well I talked with the specialist yesterday and I am to see him next friday for a CT scan and immediately following I am seeing him in his office. I have gotten my records from 2 years ago and they do stated that I have pseudomyxoma Peritonei and a colonoscopy from October 2008 when they took a biopsy confirmed it too. Now I am just sitting here waiting to see the doctor to find out what he wants to do, It is going to be a very long week and a half.

Despite the fact that I'm anxious to hear from the hospital with a date for a consultation with a microsurgeon to discuss my possible DIEP reconstruction, I will be motivated to do good things for myself today.
I will go for a walk in the lovely heath behind my home. I will do my strengthening exercises to prepare for surgery. I will propagate some seeds in the greenhouse - very early carrots, sweet peas and coriander. I will gather more books for my Kindle library. I will dust and vacuum my home...
Mum has taken a turn for the worse, I really thought the radio treatment had helped as she was regaining the feeling in her right hand. But no now her left hand has a mind of its own knocking things over. She fell twice yesterday and looks like she's done 3 rounds with mike Tyson! So she's now confined to bed it was heart breaking when she looked at me and said is this the end? I lied to her and said no you will fight this,It's not time to give up. When really I wish for her sake before she gets...
